Warmup: SSH ICx10, Weed pickers IC x10, arm circles IC x10, overhead claps IC x10

Thang: Series of measured exercises to gather baseline data for each PAX for the purpose of seeing proof of progress! Each exercise was timed or had distance measured with 2 min break between. You versus you for as many reps, distance, or time you could muster…all with a block:

Kettle bell swings: total number of reps completed in 2 min

Curls: total number of reps completed in 2 min

Overhead block hold (AKA, Zamperini hold): total length of time holding position

Goblet squats: total number of reps completed in 2 min

Overhead press: total number of reps completed in 2 min

Farmer carry: total distance in meters covered carrying two blocks until you have to set them down

Block mericans: total number of reps completed in 2 min

8-count man makers: total number of reps completed in 2 min

Recover, recover

COT: Announcement of the box for Woodchuck and Hold ‘Em; plan to take down Xmas lights; prayers for family of middle school girl who took her own life last week

Moleskin: we had 6 guys return for their second round of PT and 7 guys post to get their baseline results. Everyone pushed themselves and really demonstrated some impressive mental toughness. For the guys that came out for their second round of results, the group average improved in every category! Notable increases included a 47% increase in overhead press reps, a 45% increase in curls, and a 38% increase in 8-count man maker reps…that’s serious improvement. We’ll pick it up again in 6 weeks!
