-I was really bummed to see it raining when I woke up this morning and had to quickly change my workout I had planned for today. This workout was a called audible, but it is always a smokefest.
-I really stressed the importance of doing each exercise with proper form. You are only cheating yourself and your body. Just trying to breeze through exercises to finish is not the point. Doing the exercise the full way will build deeper and stronger muscles that will sustain and make you stronger through and through.
-Lastly I told everyone to not modify unless you absolutely have to. I think we too easily give up and just go to modify. I challenged everyone to only modify if you are injured or just absolutely cannot do the exercise. It’s you versus you, don’t worry about what other people are doing. But also know your body and we don’t want you to get hurt.
-Watching everyone today I was amazed at how hard everyone worked and how I didn’t hear people complaining. You guys were crushing it this morning and everyone was doing their own thing.
-I also noticed how much stronger this group is as a whole from this time last year when we did this workout.
-You guys inspire me and help me get out in the gloom every morning knowing you will be there.
