Another gorgeous morning to put in a little work. Mumblechatter heavy in warmup seemed focused on winkies and ankle holsters. Burpees were promised and not delivered on Wednesday, but fortunately for the PAX the Friday Q isn’t able, so they’ll have to be deferred to Monday. Unfortunately for the PAX, the Q came up with something with a high suck factor anyway. Simple in theory, difficult in practice. Ariel promised to come back on Friday or Monday (some weeks ago) and apparently meant this Friday. Claiming he hasn’t been working out then blew everyone out of the water. There really is no substitute for youth. A little confusion at first on how to execute the pyramid but everyone caught on quickly. The call for four count flutter kicks was regretted in the second set (of five), but no looking backward. Ended up with 600 flutter kicks in total. Completion of the pyramid left just enough time for some slow count Mary, which it turns out leans to more whining than normal. All in all a great way to start the day. 2nd F idea from those that stuck around after – hike a trail at Camp Cullom with machetes to help clean up overgrowth.
