“Journey to the Center of the Earth”

Jules Verne (1864)

Scientist believes there are volcanic tubes that reach to the very center of the Earth

Motion picture (1959)

Weather…75, clear skies, humid (it’s July in Indiana, what do you expect?)

Seven Pax reported at Grizzly. Nomad, Khaki, Kitty, Pappy, Zoolander, Maize, and Wrigley (Q)

F3 core principles – Free of charge, Open to all men, Held outdoors, Peer led, Ends with COT

F3 is a national network of how many scheduled weekly, free, peer led workouts for men? (2,074)

Warmup

SSH x55 IC because Nomad guessed Jules Verne wrote the book in 1809 which was 55 years off

Bat Wings (Forward Arm Circles, Backwards Arm Circles, Seal Claps, Overhead Claps) x20 each IC even though Pappy guessed the correct year of the original movie release

Was going to do the number of burpees based on the variance in the group’s guess for how many F3 workouts there are nationally, but Nomad guessed 3,000 (compared to 2,074) so yeah, we didn’t do that.

Moleskin: My favorite moment was when Khaki threw down his gloves in disgust that we were doing 55 SSH IC thanks to Nomad. It warmed up quickly as we got after it on the basketball court. A little mumble chatter that certain core exercises were in fact arm exercises and not working the core at all. Prayers lifted up for F3 brothers dealing with COVID-19 and other ailments. Prayers for the brokenness in our lives and our world. Thankful for the clown car that made it across the White River all the way from Carmel.
