Moleskin: With the promise of no running, no merkins, and no squats, nine Pax ventured into the gloom in crisp fall air. Coyote pulled up in a car, much to the surprise of everyone else. But he brought a FNG so it was understandable. There was a little groaning at the instruction to grab Cindy’s cousin “Rocky” from the creek bed given IPC week 2 and Monday’s blockparty. Thoughts went through the Paxs’ heads like “Do I grab a heavy rock or a light rock with the chance that the Q will have us trade rocks during the exercises?” Then, we simply got after it. YHC had to remind Khaki that side lunges and walking lunges do not count as squats and that chest presses do not count as merkins. The Pax worked extremely hard as teams to get all 1,100 reps completed. Everyone kept a good pace and there was very little need to pick up the six. Encouragement to keep looking for EH opportunities and also to keep your mind right and your tongue in check during times of crisis and chaos as our world seems to be sinking into. Always an honor to be together with my brothers.
