Our morning started with a quick dash through the puddles, over the ponds, and to the shelter house in the pouring rain. With the rain letting up just as the warmup was completed, PAX voted to risk getting a little wet rather than staying in the shelter house. Good thing too. The stench of the Cross Fitters still lingers in the shelter house. QIC feared the stench may never leave his workout clothes.
It was noted by Boucher that 2″ of overnight rain extends Jay-z’s already extended vacation. Starting to wonder if it’s post-workout nap envy that fuels Boucher’s animosity. Or maybe it had something to do with his < 2″? Nevertheless, we tread on.
It was also noted that all eastern Clinton County folk are related in some way. As an eastern Clinton County native and resident, I’m not sure how to feel about that. Sometimes the truth hurts….
Strong attendance today given the weather forecast. Hoping for double digit attendance on Friday with warmer dryer weather predicted for Friday morning!
