Weather: 21 degrees, flurries in the air and a thin fresh coat of snow on the ground

Thang:

We started with the classic warmup: 20 SSH, 10 Imperial Walkers, 10 Windmills, 15 Seal Jacks, and 10 Weedpickers.

We mosey’d next to the building to get out of the wind and did the Motivator from 10.

HIIT 1 – with a timer set to 1 minute on 20 seconds off we did Monkey in the middle, Ballarina Jacks, Mericans, WWII situps, Burpees, Sumo to Ski Squats. Then repeated it.

Mosey’d down the hill for the Bumblebee Blitz to complete 3 uphill sprints.

HIIT 2 – Same time but this time we did Mt Climbers, Apollo Ono, Caroline Dry Dock, Side Squats, Burpee, Freddy Mercury. We made it once and then part way through before it was Recover Recover.

Moleskin: We waited in our cars until the last moment, just enough wind to no be described as fun. We started off the HIIT routine with 2 new ones I got from the M: Monkey in the Middle and Ballerina Jacks. Turns out Monkey in the Middle has a good burn. Ballerina Jacks are exhausting and silly – all of the important components to make a comeback. Someone mentioned Ballerina Jack Burpees in their next Q, I won’t say who so you can’t avoid it.

BumbleBee Blitz was our uphill sprint. On Recover Recover, Bumblee said he didn’t like sprints. I do, in a twisted sort of way, the inspiration was to make it up hill and name it after BumbleBee. He’ll learn to love them, he wasn’t there this morning for the introduction.

We closed out with Epictetus and thoughts and prayers for Snookies bro in law father and Snaphooks M.
