Warmup: SSH & Weed Pickers. And of course, Frankenstein walk across the street
We hit the southern trail with a couple hills. Upon sight of some slower runners ahead we turned back north. A couple hard run intervals to kill the hills.
Cooldown and Recover Recover
YHC was pleasantly surprised that Spring Break didn’t create a lone runner and was joined by Tulip and Pontoon 19. We ventured south on the Monon Trail. We talked about jobs, kids, video games, food and more. It truly is a joy to hang with these two HIMs. On our way back north, we pushed some hard sprints up the hill at 116th Street and again at Carmel Drive. We remained very quiet as we passed the fire station to avoid waking anyone up. Hit right at 3 miles for the day, but pushed hard on a couple of the intervals. It was nice to be in shorts and a t-shirt and still sweat.
COT consisted of prayers for Chirp and family, Daniel Matthews, and the beauty of the Resurrection of Jesus.
