Modifications to the wod included: 

  • Royal Burpees instead of normal burpees 
  • Pax could choose lunges or dips
  • Lap around the reflection pond in between each section

Sgt. Zachary D. Tellier, 31, of Charlotte was a combat infantryman with the 4th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, at Fort Bragg. He died Sept. 29, 2007 of wounds sustained while on a ground patrol in Afghanistan

Recover, recover

Cot: prayers for Sugar (teddy bear’s 2.0) as he has a busy month of camps to make sure his diabetes stays on track.  Pickles mentioned something about Sarge having a pool party at his house on the 19th.

Moleskin:  I q’d this workout back on 2/10 at Grizzly. Much different conditions than the 18 degrees with ice on the ground this time. We also ran more. Only ran 150 meters in between sets last time. This time we ran about 500 meters in between each set. We all started out doing regular burners but by the end all but McStuffins has switched to royal burpees as we were struggling with the merkins. Had to modify the second set of ww2 sit-ups as we were running short on time.  All pushed through a tough workout in the high humidity.
