MOLESKIN:

What a crowd to end the fiscal year for the Blackcat AO. Sweat was poured, laughter was shared, and PAX left it out on the pavement today for the relay. Great to see many faces that haven’t been seen in a while. Couldn’t have asked for better weather, although the farmer of the group would’ve rather had a beatdown in a downpour.

The team of Jay-Z and Sliot took home the Gold medal in the Figure 8 Relay, while Boucher and Piper brought home the Silver. The Olympic committee will be taking a look at who crossed the line first for Bronze for the teams of Bubblicious/Maestro and Wapner/Stache. Multiple infractions might plague both teams as penalty seconds are added to their finishing times.

F3 assignments were passed for the coming year. Thank you to Boucher and Pepsi Co for sponsoring the awards for this year. Hopefully the “Top Pax” belt will be sponsored by Boozy Dew, but we’ll have to see if Athletic Annex is able to use that logo when engraving the belt.

Hopefully today brought the fire that some needed to spark the motivation to post going into next year. Thanks to Cubby Blue for offering a strong prayer for peace and strength moving forward with the challenges ahead. For those who need help getting pulled back out of social media drama lately (me), this morning was a good reminder that consistent posting and routine exercise is one of the single best things we can do to stay healthy through cold/flu/pandemic season. You know, the stuff that nobody talks about…. because it’s hard. And that’s why we’re men. We do hard things and we set an example for our families.

Hope to see everyone Monday!
