Cornwallis started with 243 SSH IC that were separated every 50 by mericans, imperial storm walkers, windmills, and something else YHC cant remember.

PVC then added 10 cheery pickers

Motorboat had everyone head to the fishbowl for a 4.7.1776.
4-8ct man makers
7-Woodchucks (merican that goes side to side in the down position)
17- modified pull ups OYO
76 – Squirming turtles (heel touches)

Nomad rescued us with a mosey to the hill. Sprint down the hill and back up. 25 squats. Down the hill and back up. 25 lunges. down the hill and back up. 26 mericans.

PVC then added a backwards mosey to the bridge for motivators from 7. Bearcrawl across the bridge while we sang the pledge of allegiance and then the star spangled banner. Headlock has some pipes on him!

Thumper added 20 “skiers” and 20 apollo ohno (SP?). YHC is a terrible speller.

Mosey back for Mary with DC.

Modified Windshield wipers with low holds spaced in.

RECOVER, RECOVER

MOLESKIN: 15 Pax, including a sneak attack from Snooki, posted despite the Running Emoji featured prominently in the Pre-Blast. Thank you Cold Call for joining us from somewhere downrange. R-E-S-P-E-C-T to Cosmo for the Slack mumble-chatter and then fartsack! That is a pro’s move.

Thank you all for pushing me way out of my comfort zone and letting me lead another workout. Bear crawling and crab walking the base paths is probably a little excessive, but all PAX completed it in style nonetheless. My day was made around 550AM when Headlock belted out “GOOD” multiple times. One “Good” was all I selfishly wanted from the Q. All the Qs for July are already spoken for. Put in your bids for August! Have a restful and safe holiday men!

Moleskin

12 PAX for a Ying Yang workout with Logger and Cosmo co-Qing.  Logger took the warmup and beatdown while Cosmo took the cool down and stretch.  All PAX worked hard and were glad to see the cool down and stretch as Logger was ‘smoking’ the Pax with a very solid beatdown.  Mumblechatter was acceptable, YHC always appreciates grumbling during the stretch…means is working.

Overall great time and great performance put in by all PAX.

Keep it going and keep giving it away!

Always a privilege,

Cosmo (with Logger)

Moleskin – Beater was going to Q and kick our butts but sick family members needed his attention. He text me a general overview of what he was thinking. It looked like a bad choice with a great theme so we did it. Modifications with each of the attending PAX responsible for choosing an exercise. There was a lot of tension when Clubber was choosing what we were doing 50 of – he made a smart decision by splitting it up into 2 groups of 25. We welcomed Thumper to the group, driving all the way up from Greenwood.

Thank you men!

11 PAX posted for a rather soggy ruck and completed 3 MILES with 4 stops for exercises (nice work men).  Pace was awesome and allowed for discussion and catching up along the way.  The Cable Walk was tough in many ways, but will help get us in shape for more pull-ups.  Always good to see Logger who joined us for some Cable walking as a break from his run.  Mumblechatter was sufficient, especially during the core workout (something about wet grass) and YHC was happy to hear it.  The end-of-the-ruck trot seemed to be a PAX favorite as well.

Welcome Buck Shot (FNG)…nice work Aggie for EH’ing him!

Keep passing it along!

Good work by ALL!

D-Day Ruckout

Image from iOS-6.jpgImage from iOS-4.jpgImage from iOS.jpgImage from iOS-3.jpgImage from iOS-5.jpgImage from iOS-2.jpg

6/8/19

Q- Maize and Cornwallis
Pax- Fresh Cut, Clubber, Motorboat, Groupie, Snooki, Cosmo, Bulldog, Quick, FNG Brendan, Aggie, Brickyard, Tulip, Nomad

Debrief at 0655: Share a little about D-day
-1944 Operation “overlord”
-largest amphibious assault ever.
-Over 130,000 ground troops on the beach.
-Landed on 5 beaches: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword
-Allies from over 30 countries came together to make it happen
-Soldiers were taking fire before the boats even hit the beach. Then they had to swim to get to the beach for cover.

First Movement:
You are all now in an LCVP (landing craft, vehicle, personnel) or Higgins boat.
To simulate this we are going to move in 2 columns/files, in silence. Think about what those guys where thinking about heading to the beach.
Our beach landing will be the fields just north on Hazel Dell.
Flag in the front.
Move as 1 unit. There should not be any gaps between you. Figure it out. If you can’t reach the guy’s ruck in front of you there will be casualties and you will have to carry the casualty.
Make sure you have crossing guards.
You have 15 minutes to get to the beach when we say go.

☑️ Made it successfully in less than 15 minutes.

Beach:

Once at the beach: Plant the flag and get in 1 rank (horizontal) with coupons out front.

Cornwallis and Maize  participate with alternating cadre after each exercise.

Instructions: Move as a unit. Your safety depends on it. Find a battle buddy your size.
1) Low crawl 50 Yards. We had 1 casualty, Groupie, whose low crawl was too high. He was dragged the final distance in.
2) Partner Drag: 25 yards then switch
3) Partner Bear Crawls ~15-20 yards each
4) Fireman’s partner carry ~100 yards total
5) Tunnel ruck drag
6) Overhead Ruck Squats x 15
7) Group sit ups with rucks x 15
Had an AAR (after action report) and rucked back.

COT

Moleskin:
– Everyone worked really hard this morning and I hope you enjoyed it. We enjoyed planning it and watching it unfold.
-Everyone was truly silent and getting their minds right on the ruck over.
-I loved seeing how everyone chipped in and helped each other out to be successful on the beach. Great team work.
-Mad props to Clubber for fireman carrying Cosmo! #beast! #respect
-Welcome FNG Alamo!

Keep posting and keep EH’ing!

Aye!
