Thank you for my Birthday Celebration. I appreciated each one of my gifts, you all are very generous. Only mumblechatter today was about how we could do 36 of nothing. No one choose that, we all wanted to get after it and we had the sweat to prove it. Muffins were a good conclusion to the morning – thanks to Logger’s M.

Cards in a box about 30 yards away.  PAX run down and grab a card at random from box and run back.  Do a burpee.  Repeat until each PAX has 5 cards.  Best hand gets to pick the exercise.  Do the number of reps based on total value of cards in your hand with face cards worth 10 and aces worth 1.

YHC, Gas Man, Brickyard for 3 mile ruck at 0600. Beautiful morning for a ruck and a workout. In warmup Q complimented by Respects for proper pace on the Abe Vigodas and everyone loved nipple tweakers except when the man across gazed into your eyes. First card game of draw a card treated some PAX more harshly than others after taking part in the Ironpax. Monkey humper ring of fire brought the heat as usual. Much awaited game of poker dominated by Brickyard with a flush and full house. Workout ran long for a short and hustled Mary. Discovered that BlackCat shirts leave a pretty cool sweat outline.

I recently heard a video clip of Jocko Willink about his philosophy of always responding “good” no matter how dire the situation. You say “good” because you can say it… because you are ALIVE. I put together a tough workout with the challenge for the PAX to respond with everything exercise with “good”.

Thanks to everyone who posted today. It was super nice having Pop and Spud back in the fold and it was great seeing Logger after his vacation. There is a renewed energy in F3 Indianapolis right now, and we are trying to pour as much gas on the fire as we can. Regular 2nd F events start this week (bi-weekly happy hours on Wednesday’s and bi-weekly lunches on the off weeks starting next Thursday). F3 is so much more than the workouts, so I’m excited to see everyone post at our 2nd F events as well.

Moleskin:
I have been thinking about this workout for a while now, and once I had it written down I was practically giddy to run the PAX through the ringer. After running through it this morning, I realized that it wasn’t as exciting as some of our workouts, but I’m hoping the PAX will still feel it later today. Prayers for everyone who couldn’t make it.
